Buying a home is one of the largest purchases you'll ever make and you need a dedicated real estate team to ensure that you understand the different steps and aspects of your purchase.
An endless passion for creating, for connecting,
for self discovery, for people, for life.
Ellen Nasser was raised in a small Saskatchewan community named Saltcoats. Constantly growing and evolving as both a human being and artist, Ellen enjoys creating and taking her skills to the next level. Whether she is selling houses, performing on the stage, writing in her music room, or practicing yoga, Ellen always shows up with her Leo passion.
While working at the Front Desk at the Sheraton Cavalier, a friend of Ellen’s said: ‘You’d be great at selling houses!’ Something inside of her thought maybe he was right! So, Ellen went home and talked to her husband about it and he couldn’t agree more. It was soon after that, that she enrolled and became a Realtor®.She remembers starting out by picking up the phonebook at 8:30 in the morning and calling people to introduce herself and ask if they ‘knew of anyone looking to buy or sell real estate.’ Nearly a decade later she is now among some of the top selling real estate agents in Saskatoon.
Ellen Nasser’s specialties include working with Sellers who want to maximize their return while selling their home. She works closely with an amazing team including her brother, Lee Kolenick. Lee comes with a background in marketing, graphics, photography and video production– all of which help take Ellen’s listings to the next level.
Ellen’s passion for helping people is palpable. She treats her clients like friends and always has their best interests at heart. She takes pride in her listings and is thrilled when clients have an emotional connection to the work she does.
Multitalented, Nasser studied at the prestigious Canadian College of Performing Arts in Victoria, B.C. and honed her musical talents aboard Norwegian Cruise Lines. Nasser has also acted in TV series like Rabbit Fall and Corner Gas, as well as in stage adaptations of Evita and Toon Town with Saskatoon’s Persephone Theatre.
As a songwriter and recording artist, Ellen has four albums to her name (born Ellen Kolenick and former Stage name Elly Thorn) and completed her first Christmas album that was released December 2019, the evening she performed with the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra. It was one of the most magical evenings of her life.
Ellen Nasser has released numerous songs to country radio including Sweet Millie, How Christmas Used to Feel, Almost Christmas, Something In Me and Eight More Days.
With the success of her singles, Ellen purchased a used Baby Grand Kawai from her neighbour and has been playing it every day for the past 2 years. Soon to complete her Level 6, Ellen has created numerous original piano compositions which she shares on her active social media outlets.
Ellen enjoys daily meditation and living a healthy lifestyle, making choices that support alignment and clarity. The truest loves of her life are her hubby Johnny and their four babies: Bella, Millie, Sam, Walt and puppy Sofi.
Ellen Nasser understands that excellent communication, strong negotiation skills and excellent work ethic not only help close the deal, but ensure a smooth sailing experience. Life is too short, choose someone you’ll enjoy the ride with. Even though waves are an inevitable part of the journey, it’s how you respond to them that determines the outcome.
